About Box Canyon (Maple)

Cobble climbing is unique: pockets, pinches, and jugs formed by embedded rounded clasts ranging 'from golf balls to washing machines' cemented in brown mud. Steep angles keep many walls dry in rain. Privately-owned in parts (Box Canyon proper) — dogs not permitted; observe the posted rules.
