Privacy

This site uses Umami for anonymous visitor statistics.

No cookies are used. No personal data is stored. IP addresses are hashed and not retained. Umami simply records page views and which crag pages are being looked at so we can see if the site is useful.

Weather data is fetched from the Met Office and Open-Meteo APIs. No user data is shared with them.

If you submit a condition log, the text you enter is stored privately and used only to improve the forecast algorithm. It is not displayed to other visitors. An anonymised IP hash is stored alongside for spam prevention only — the raw IP is never saved. No names, emails or accounts are required.
