Giggleswick North is an extensive limestone cliff line hidden in trees above the main Giggleswick South sector. The rock offers technical vertical walls, sharp sidepulls, and compact gray limestone plates. Facing south, the upper walls receive plenty of sunlight, though dense foliage keeps lower tiers shaded and leads to longer drying times after rain. The crag provides a rich density of sport and trad climbs, mostly falling into the 6a to 7c sport bracket and HVS to E4 trad range. Standout lines like Flesh and Blood highlight the sustained, crimpy nature of the climbing. The approach involves a 10-minute uphill walk along woodland tracks from roadside laybys. Persistent seepage in shaded alcoves is the main condition constraint to consider.
