About Reiff (Main Cliff & Pinnacle)

Reiff (Main Cliff & Pinnacle) is a world-class sea cliff venue in Wester Ross, featuring magnificent horizontal tiers of Torridonian sandstone. The rock is famously grippy, offering juggy overhangs, crisp crimps, and perfect horizontal cam placements directly above the sea. Facing west into the Minch, the cliffs receive brilliant afternoon sunshine and dry rapidly in ocean winds, though high sea swells can spray lower pitches. The grade distribution is superb, offering hundreds of trad climbs from Diff up to hard E-grades, with classics like Spitfire and Sealhunter. The approach is a scenic ten-to-fifteen minute walk along flat coastal paths from the Reiff road end parking. While non-tidal on upper platforms, rogue Atlantic waves demand constant respect.
