About Chair Ladder

World-class multi-pitch granite sea cliff at Gwennap Head. South-facing — quick drying with sea breeze. Requires tidal access for most routes. Partial bird ban Mar–Jun on Bishop's Buttress and Zawn Rinny. The rock offers incredible friction, sharp granite edges, and immaculate vertical crack systems that take gear placements exceptionally well. Approach is a fifteen-minute walk down from the coastguard station at Gwennap Head — Atlantic sea spray can leave salt residue on lower tiers.
