About Rumney The Hinterlands

The Hinterlands is Rumney's most exposed and highest sport venue — a group of steep pumpy walls, slabs, technical faces and cracks tucked high on Rattlesnake Mountain at 351m. Rockfall hazard exists on unstable portions high above Jolt — take a helmet. Park at Buffalo Pit and take the trail past it, then follow signs at the fork toward Prudential or Northwest Territories to reach Dolt/Jolt. Shares Rumney's weather anchor with the Main Cliff.
