About Skevik
Skevik is one of Stockholm's flagship sport crags — a compact grey granite wall on Ingarö (Värmdö municipality) east of the city, 30 metres high, and much of it slightly overhanging. Sustained continuously interesting and strongly defined lines with generally excellent bolting; vertical technical climbing with crimpy holds dominates. Sweet spot for the crag is the 6c-7c band — this is where Skevik regulars go for the best pumps. 64 sport routes and 26 trad, grades 4 up to 8a. South-west aspect catches afternoon and evening sun. Stockholm's continental Baltic climate is drier than western Sweden, giving a long usable season.
