About Circus Wall (Ten Sleep)

Circus Wall is Ten Sleep's premier summer heat-refuge — a north-facing pocketed Bighorn Dolomite wall in the lower canyon at 1978m, in shade all morning with a brief afternoon sun window (~2pm to ~4pm). Two distinct sections: longer routes on the taller portion, and a 'short and bulgy' area with steep climbing. Range spans 5.8 through 5.12+ with Circus in the Wind (5.11a/b) as the standout classic. The neighbouring Wall of Denial features an 'arctic chimney issuing freezing air' — a memorable canyon feature. Ideal when the sunny walls (Downpour, Superratic) are baking.
