About Aiguillette d'Argentière

Historic lines carry alpinist names: La Biscante is Lachenal's nickname (the NE ridge integral), the Rébuffat–Terray takes the north face. Approach one hour from the Tré le Champ parking (1416m) up the Tour du Mont-Blanc trail. At 1843m the venue is high enough that the fog and condensation rule fires often on humid summer mornings — trust it. Multi-aspect summit means sun or shade always available on a different face; descent by rappel.
