About Isili
Central Sardinia's overhang-climbing capital — a compact limestone venue with 300+ sport routes spread across 9 sub-areas, all featuring the pocketed, athletic overhang style that Isili built its reputation on. The rock is featured almost exclusively with holes; bolts are bomber glue-ins throughout and approaches are short. Two reasons this crag matters for the forecast: the crags are naturally sheltered from the Sardinian Maestrale wind, and the overhang-heavy sectors keep climbing possible in rain that would shut down the coastal venues — this is the island's go-to wet-weather refuge alongside Domusnovas. Sun and shade sectors let you match aspect to the day.
