About Craig y Forwyn (Conwy)
A 110m Carboniferous limestone cliff on the west bank of the Afon Dulas, less than a mile south of Llanddulas. Long-established as one of the finest trad limestone crags in North Wales — the name means 'Maiden Crag' in Welsh. Access has had a troubled past — climbing was totally banned for a period — check current status before visiting. Seasonal seabird nesting restrictions can apply to some sections during spring/summer — check BMC RAD before visiting.
