Creag nam Fitheach is a rugged schist crag perched above the glens of the Southern Highlands, offering quiet mountain cragging. The rock character consists of crystalline mica-schist with positive crimps, horizontal wiring breaks, and distinct corner features. Facing south, the cliff receives good daylight exposure and dries relatively quickly after wet weather fronts pass through. The grade profile spans mid-grade traditional routes between Severe and lower E-grades, led by classic lines like Fitheach Wall. The approach requires a twenty-five minute uphill walk across heather moorland from minor road laybys. Well-featured rock makes for enjoyable climbing once clear of lower damp breaks.
