Carn Gloose is a prominent granite headland situated south of Cape Cornwall, offering scenic, open-air sea cliff climbing. The rock character consists of rough pink granite with crisp horizontal ledges, positive holds, and clean vertical crack systems. Facing west over the sea, the crag catches afternoon sun and dries very fast under coastal winds. The grade range covers quality traditional routes between Severe and lower E-grades, highlighted by Gloose Wall. The approach takes ten minutes along coastal tracks from the Carn Gloose parking area followed by a short abseil. Tidal levels cover starting ledges, making low-tide visits necessary.
