Pedn-a-Vounder is a breathtaking sea cliff venue located above a turquoise bay near Treen in West Penwith. The rock character is immaculate granite, featuring rough friction slabs, clean vertical jam cracks, and crisp horizontal ledges. Facing south, the cliff captures full sunshine throughout the day and dries almost instantly after rain showers. The climbing focuses on scenic traditional routes between Severe and E-grades, with Pedn Wall offering exceptional granite climbing. The approach requires a twenty-minute walk from Treen car park followed by a steep, scramble descent down a rocky gully to the beach. Tidal movement covers the beach base, restricting access around high water.
