About Wall Street

Wall Street is a 500-foot Wingate sandstone cliff running along Utah 279 (Potash Road) west of Moab, and probably the most popular roadside cragging in the desert Southwest. Sub-minute approach from car to cliff; 100+ routes from 5.4 to 5.12 with the majority in the 5.10s. Wingate sandstone — 48h wet-rock rule applies (holds break and cams pull when the rock is damp). The wall faces southeast so morning sun dries the rock quickly, but there's minimal drainage above the cliff so it dries much faster than the towers up the road.
