Access
(private land, membership required): Carver Cliff sits on private property owned by the Rosenbaum family and Stone Cliff. All climbers must be current members of the Carver Climbing Club ($25/year), carry photo ID and their membership card at all times, and climb only — no hiking or nature walking. Membership rules tightened after recent vandalism; permission to use the property is discretionary and can be withdrawn.
Carver Bridge Cliff (also known as Carver Cliff) is a compact 80-foot basalt crag in the small town of Carver, twenty minutes south of Portland just off Highway 212. The cliff holds a few dozen sport and trad routes with T.I.A. (5.11c) among the classics. The riverside setting is low-elevation and Portland-damp — best conditions are April through October.
