About Kolob Canyons

Kolob Canyons is 'the other Zion' — a separate Zion NP district accessed via its own I-15 exit 17 miles north of Toquerville, with no shuttle system and dramatically fewer crowds than the main canyon. Higher altitude (1816m vs 1363m in the main canyon) means it stays climbable longer into summer. Home to Namaste Wall, one of southern Utah's premier sport crags on quality Navajo sandstone. Same NPS wet-sandstone rules apply.
