Meadow Camp is a historic top-rope and bouldering zone along the Deschutes River just outside Bend — a south-and-east-facing basalt cliff band 20–40 feet tall, ten minutes from downtown via Cascade Lakes Highway. The area holds vertical crack and corner routes plus quality bouldering, with Ground Chuck (V4/5) and the Snail Trail boulder among the local favourites. Large pines shade some of the climbs, but the south-facing aspect makes for hot summer sessions — spring and autumn are optimal. Central Oregon high desert climate means fast drying after storms. Access via the same Cascade Lakes Highway turn-off as Widgi Boulders — take the gravel road just before Widgi Creek Golf Course and park at the first river-side parking area, then walk downstream. The two areas share a weather anchor.
