Dib Scar is a compact limestone crag tucked into a scenic ravine above Conistone in Wharfedale. The rock is clean, featured gray limestone offering technical slabs, steep finger cracks, and sharp crimps. Facing south-southwest, the scar acts as an efficient sun trap and dries very quickly after rainfall due to elevated breeze. The crag provides a mix of high-quality trad climbs and select sport lines, mostly in the Severe to E3 grade band. Classic lines like Dib Scar Wall feature engaging, technical moves. Access requires a 15-minute uphill walk along public footpaths from Conistone village. Open sheep grazing surroundings require climbers to keep dogs on leads.
