About Finale Ligure — Capo Noli

The coastal cape headland at the north end of the Finale climbing area, with four sport crag sectors of routes standing on sea cliffs directly above the Mediterranean. Rock is a different variety of limestone from the classic Finale marine stone found inland — small technical holds on vertical walls, quite unlike the pocketed Perti-style climbing. Suitable for intermediate to expert climbers. The Traverso di Capo Noli is a horizontal multi-pitch traverse just above the waves — one of the more spectacular climbing lines in the Mediterranean. Full seasonal closure March through July for seabird nesting.
