About Carreg-y-Barcud

North Pembroke's finest sheet of sandstone: purple/brown compact sandstone slabs forming three distinct walls (Grey Face, Yellow Wall, Main Face from west to east) that are taller and more impressive than the region's other venues. Approach in 15-20 minutes from Caer Bwdy car park. Generally abseil in, though a low-tide scramble is possible at the east end. Seasonal seabird nesting restrictions can apply to some sections during spring/summer — check BMC RAD before visiting.
