About Deep Creek
Deep Creek is a modern sport crag on the Cumberland Trail State Park near Soddy Daisy, 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga at the confluence of Big Soddy Creek and Deep Creek. 150+ routes across 18+ walls of overhanging Cumberland sandstone — hard, sustained climbing predominantly 5.11 and up (Tea and Crumpets Wall carries the moderate 5.9–5.11 lines). SCC-owned access parcel and parking lot; a gate code is required for parking access (fill out the form on seclimbers.org). Daily online climbing registration required for TN State Park areas via tnstateparks.com/activities. Managed under an MOU between local climbers and park officials.
