About Porth Dafarch

A small south-facing bay on the south-east of Holy Island with a selection of sea-cliff routes across various headlands and zawns. Rock is Cambrian meta-sedimentary — meta-sandstones, siltstones and quartzites of the South Stack Formation, eroded into sea cliffs and sea caves. Also Anglesey's iconic coasteering venue. Seasonal seabird nesting restrictions can apply to some sections during spring/summer — check BMC RAD before visiting.
