About Chuckwalla Wall

Chuckwalla Wall is St George's most-visited sport crag — a compact south/southwest-facing red Navajo sandstone cliff with 31 fully-bolted lines featuring 'pockets, slopers, and crimps' that are 'mostly good' and 'gentle on the hands'. Prime winter destination when everywhere else is snowed in. Snow Canyon State Park fee area (as of March 2024 — $10-15 day pass at the Chuckwalla lot). Same 48h wet-sandstone rule as all Navajo/Aztec crags.
