About Palisades Park (Oneonta)

Palisades Park is a Blount County park atop Ebell Mountain near Oneonta AL, 90 minutes south of Huntsville. Half a mile of Cumberland sandstone bluffline, ~61 routes 5.4 to 5.12, all trad or toprope (no bolting allowed). Beginner-friendly with lots of permanent anchors for TR setups; grades are considered sandbagged. Approach from the parking lot near the picnic pavilion via a fourth-class gully/chimney to the cliff base. Cumberland sandstone wet-rock ethic applies.
