About Red River Gorge — Miller Fork
The Miller Fork Recreational Preserve is the RRGCC's newer flagship — nearly 30 crags and 500+ routes on immaculately developed Corbin sandstone in the southern Gorge, roughly 3 km east of the Motherlode/PMRP cluster. RRGCC-owned outright since 2017 (309 acres). Rock is bullet hard and well cleaned; grades are widely considered slightly stiffer than the rest of the RRG. Access requires a 4WD or high-clearance vehicle: from Miguel's Pizza take Beattyville Rd 9.3 mi, left on Schumaker Ridge Rd 3.5 mi, right on the steep gravel Hell Creek Rd 0.8 mi, right before the creek, 1.2 mi to the lot. Signed RRGCC waiver mandatory. No hammocks or drones, leashed pets only. October–April is prime.
