Facing east, the wall captures morning sunlight and dries very fast, offering excellent shelter from prevailing westerly winds. The venue is dedicated to sport climbing, featuring accessible bolted routes between 5a and 7a, with New Wall Special serving as a prominent line. The approach takes less than five minutes along flat quarry paths from the Church Ope Road parking area. Non-tidal access ensures simple planning for quick sessions.
