Facing south, the cliffs act as excellent sun traps and dry rapidly following wet weather. Route selection includes accessible traditional climbs from Diff up to hard E-grades, featuring classic lines like Strathconon Wall. The approach takes ten to fifteen minutes along valley paths from roadside laybys along the minor Strathconon road. Midges can gather in sheltered woodland spots near the river on calm summer evenings.
