About Coire Dheirgs

Coire Dheirgs is a remote mountain corrie set deep within the wilderness peaks of Wester Ross, constructed of Torridonian sandstone. The cliff offers steep, atmospheric multi-pitch traditional routes on rough, layered sandstone with large natural holds. Facing east high in the corrie, the crag catches early morning sunshine before moving into cool shade by mid-day. The climbing caters to adventurous traditional climbers, with technical E-grade wall climbs and classic VS ridges. The approach requires a long, seventy-five minute mountain hike across wild terrain from the nearest Glen Torridon parking. Remote mountain solitude and complex descents mean climbers must be fully self-reliant.
