About Rosemergy Mountain

Rosemergy Mountain is an elevated granite hillside crag situated above the West Penwith coast road near Bosigran. The rock character consists of clean, crystalline granite with positive crimps, sharp horizontal breaks, and tidy corner features. Facing northwest, the crag catches late afternoon sun and benefits from open hill winds that dry the rock rapidly after rain. Grade coverage focuses on friendly lower and middle-grade traditional routes from Severe to lower E-grades, led by Rosemergy Corner. The approach takes ten to fifteen minutes up grassy hillside trails from parking laybys along the B3306. Non-tidal, hillside positioning makes it an easy, accessible alternative to coastal sea cliffs.
