About Firemore Boulders

Firemore Boulders sit along the sandy shoreline of Firemore beach near Poolewe, offering high-grade Torridonian sandstone bouldering. The sandstone is dark red, coarse, and highly featured with roof slopers, clean arêtes, and pocketed faces. Facing various aspects along the coast, climbers can find sun or shade throughout the day. Bouldering grades span 5th to 7th grade problems, with Firemore Roof offering a fine roof challenge. Access takes a five-minute flat walk across the beach from the Firemore car park. High spring tides can reach the bases of lower beach blocks, so checking local tide times is advisable.
